The plane that crashed in Ukraine is RD. See this photo and some others among the hi-res wreckage shots posted by Akkermans. It shows what appears to be that front wheel flap with the blue 'RD'. You can even see a faint outline of a previous paint job, in which the RD was higher up.

There are also multiple other photos around, of wreckage hull sections with the RD identifier. 

I believe the soldiers that reported to colonel Strelkov that the bodies were long dead and rotting immediately after the crash, would know the difference between freshly dead and not-fresh. Most of the bodies were shifted to refrigerated rail cars very quickly - within 24 hours. It's interesting that the MSM here in Australia took pains to claim the bodies had been left 'out in the hot sun for days'.

It's going to be interesting to see whether relatives will ever be allowed to see the bodies. Somehow I suspect not. Maybe we'll see a few crisis actors tearfully pretending to be relatives, talking about having viewed their loved ones.
