I won this Lot 9074 3ph 415V UPS 30KVA 21KW Poweraware PW9305-30I-N-O SN 279542 for $1. Details of sale Dates for collections are: Between Tuesday, 17 October to Wednesday, 25 October 2017 for smaller assets (excluding weekends) from 8:00am to 4:00pm (AEDT). ---------------- QUERY: The PDF statement says: Please contact Luke McCann on 02 9738 3010 (hours are 8am to 5pm Mon-Fri) As per our Terms & Conditions you have 3 working days to remove the item from this location otherwise storage fees may be applied by the holding yard. Q: Also my bank statement shows this billed TWICE. It's only $1.16, but still odd. ----------------- It's a serious sale, glad to win it. I'll be going down (car & trailer) to pick it up. But not sure when. Is there _really_ a hurry? It's in a room by itself in the basement and it will be many months before the building is cleared. I currently have a bad cold, and my trailer must be re-registered. Q: What is the REAL removal deadline? Q: Removal method. The item is heavy. 210Kg without batteries, according to online data. The unit is 'downstairs' and I'm not sure of vehicle access. I will do the removal but will need to inquire with people on site about details. Contact name and number? Q: There is one other small item I won for $1. Sale 7 Lot 5354. Chiltern MT17 Test tube agitator. It's the size of a toaster, and is in the metrology room. Can it be put with the UPS? Q: Two larger items I bid on but did not win, were 'passed in.' Lot 152 Okuma Spaceturn LB250T CNC lathe. Lot 605 Assembly machine in cubicle. Also I think many other things did not sell. Can I be placed on an email notification list for further auctions of this site please. Q What proportion of items were passed in, and how will the second auction be different? Complaints: * The auction document organisation was terrible. Specifically the printed lot listings given out onsite had titles that bore no relationship to the online sale numbers. This made it very difficult to find things. How hard could it be to give the sales a sensible numbering BEFORE printing piles of lot listings? * Secondly, in months of preparation, did no one think to put up signs (or paint on the floor) the grid reference numbers added to the floorplan map? * 'Passed in' - what? It wasn't made clear this could happen. This wasted a lot of time. Also the values - Lot 605 went over $400, and for that to pass in is ridiculous. Who on Earth valued it and did they factor in the nuisance of going to Albury, dismantling it, and transport? Whatever it cost to build is irrelevant now. Similarly for CNC lathe Lot 152. Bidding reached a little lower than the other same models, but didn't the threshold consider this machine is missing an essential option (tool position cal arm) which CANNOT be retrofitted for less than at least $10K. It's actually stupid how high the bidding went on this machine. -------------------- 20171013 Friday 11:30am Called 9738 3010, asked for Luke McCann. Told he's not available. Asked questions of lady who answered. Told: * Ignore that "3 working days to remove". * All items have reserve prices, unless otherwise stated. * Contact at Albury re pickup of the UPS: 0414 262 728 Paul. Person to speak with about second auction: 0499 993 285 Lee. ---------------------
